Don't invest in Arctic drillers!

Arctic drilling is unacceptable. It is reckless. It is wrong.

While oil companies don’t care about the environment, they do care about investors

Lloyd's of London has just warned investors of the "unique and hard-to-manage" risks and huge potential environmental damage of oil drilling in the Arctic. Now you can add to the pressure and help to persuade investors to ditch Arctic drillers, draw a protective red line around the Arctic, and tip the balance against companies like Shell.

Ethical and environmental investment funds rely on people like you – people with a conscience – to tell them where to put their money. Sign the petition and we’ll deliver it to some of the top fund providers that screen for environmental issues including Aviva, Standard Life, Scottish Widows, L&G, Prudential and Zurich, asking them to drop all Arctic drillers. We’ll also keep you updated on our campaigns.

Thousands of people from the UK, Russia and around the world are calling on environmental investment funds to ditch Arctic drillers. Help us get to 30,000!

"Drilling for oil in the Arctic is risky, unacceptable, and wrong. Companies engaging in it have no place in any investment fund with an environmental screen. F&C, one of the UK's biggest ethical funds, recently decided to screen out any oil firm drilling in the Arctic.  We’re asking you to follow suit. Please commit to exclude oil companies drilling in the Arctic from your environmentally screened funds, starting with Shell."
